This fun-filled event is a mix of the legendary Pocono-grown garlic, entertainment so good you’ll think you’re at a high-priced concert, a gaggle of gifted craftspeople and artisans, and lots and lots of great food-
all of it liberally laced with garlic.
Now in it's 17th year, the Pocono Garlic Festival has become a Labor Day weekend “must” for thousands and thousands of people-
they know a good thing when they smell it.
|  Food will be abundant, and in keeping with the reason for the Festival, very much garlic-oriented. About 25 restaurants , maverick cooks and chefs dazzle Festival goers with their creations. They range from the gourmet, to the tried and true like garlic roasted pig, to the outright zany, like roasted garlic ice cream and garlic funnel cakes. There's always so much food that many Festival goers bring along coolers so they can take some home for the refrigerator or freezer. |
|  The craftspeople and artisans are high-class. Although working in a full spectrum of diverse mediums, they all find a way to offer some garlic-themed wares. From hand made pottery, water colors, oils, speciality food items, hand made soaps and oils. Even locally grown gourd bird houses as seen in the photo to the right. |
|  The live local fun family entertainment runs all day long, each day, and almost non-stop over the two days of the festival with multiple entertainment tents. There is family entertainment including magicians, juggling acts, live performers throughout the day and don't forget there is continual music performed by some of the best musical groups the Pocono's have to offer! The music ranges from country, bluegrass, rock, jazz and to many venus to list. |
