- The festival is held at Shawnee Ski
Mountain Area. It is an outdoor venue. It is located on the mountain
area where there are some natural shade trees and lots of large shade
tents with picnic tables for dinning.
- The
admission price includes parking, two stages continuous music, live
family entertainment, cooking demonstration, educations seminars and a
children's craft activity area. Over fifteen local farmers will have
their farm stands selling every variety of garlic, including fresh
produce and garlic theme food items. In addition to the local artist
tents that sell every thing from garlic themed shirts, soaps, water
colors, ceramic, oils, jewelry and much more. Festival guests purchase
garlic infused food and beverages from the vendors. Prices range from
$2 to $12 depending on the item, which is a full-size serving; No

- Parking is Free with a shuttle running from the parking lot to festival grounds.
- Public Transportation:
Currently there is no direct public transportation. Shuttle service is
provided for guests of the Shawnee Inn & Resort and Fernwood
Resorts.
- Local Taxi Service is available at www.poconocabco.com
- For your comfort:
- Wear comfortable shoes – walking on lawn, compact dirt, and asphalt.
- Dress in layers – mornings could be cool, afternoons are sunny.
- Sport hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen – there’s lots of garlic sunbeams.
- Children’s strollers are suggested. Rentals are not available.
- Handicapped and disabled access:
The parking lot is graded multi tired lots of compact dirt. Ask the lot
attendant for directions to handicap parking. From there, guests will
be shuttled to and from the gate. The festival grounds are mostly
asphalt with some lawn and compact dirt. There are handicap restroom
facilities in the Ski Lodge and at the many port a potties through out
the festival. There are many shade tents with tables and benches
throughout the festival area.

- The Pocono Garlic Festival is a celebration of food, fun and family.
- It is the Garlic Festival’s policy to provide a safe, family-friendly
- atmosphere for all Festival patrons and volunteers.
- Shawnee Mountain rules prohibit bringing the following items on Festival grounds:
- Bottles, glass and cans
- Pocketknives and weapons of any kind.
- *If you bring any of these items listed above, Leave them locked in your car.
- Prohibit dogs and other animals
- Except Guide Dogs, Seeing Eye Dogs & Service Dogs.
- *There are no kennel facilities available at the park.
