The festival is fun for everyone!! Outside in the garlic kissed sunshine children can frolic in the grass covered meadow family fun area.  Which is a host of activities for children, including in the cost of admission a hands on petting zoo filled with farm friendly four legged friends, daily local wildlife educational show, slight of hand entertainment with magic shows and a jaw dropping awe inspiring juggling act!  

 

    Aardvark Entertainment Juggling Shows &  Face Painting  Mark Clark has amazed audiences for over 35 years with imaginative presentations and illusions. His performances deliver the finest entertainment filled with magic, comedy, audience participation,and most of all - fun! After marring his wife Georgette the pair created Aardvark Entertainment which developed their combined  talents including balloon sculpture, juggling and stilt walking. This fun duo also helps organize many great games to participate during the Pocono Garlic Festival a crowd pleasing favorite is  the daily interactive and "cool" balloon toss.

 

 

 

 Wizard Magician Stephen Christopher  will dazzle all in his presence with his quick wit  and mind blowing slight of hand as this constant performer takes the stage. Not only does  Christopher have his twice daily shows, but he strolls the grounds to show off his card    tricks and mind bending illusions.

  

 

 UNDER THE BIG TENT ON SUNDAY  PA Dance Vision of the Pocono Mountains of PA, is a  non-profit organization dedicated to displaying the work of their unique dance company &  creative choreography throughout the community & region. Visit our EDUCATION TENT there is FUN for all...

Young and old will be having hands on family friendly interaction with local wildlife, this one of a kind education experience is given by Kathy Uhler of the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center who demonstrates in her hour long program how we can protect and live along side our natural neighbors.

 

Cute andcuddly is how you would described our  Petting Zoo which is just adjacent to the education tent.  This collection of farm animals, chick, ducks sheep, and other docile wild animals such as turtles bunnies for children to feed and pet is included with your Pocono Garlic Festival day.

One of the more popular attractions at the Pocono Garlic Festival is an informative discussion with our own Garlic Farmers Bob Dunkel & Roman Osadca will each have an informative half an hour lectures on everything garlic. 

 

Is your family full of garlic FOODIES??? Live professional chef demos!

A thirty year veteran of the restaurant industry Chef Dan Rothman has traveled the country with an extensive career working from New Orleans LA, Palm Beach FL and more notables are Tavern on The Green in NYC, Frog and Peach as well as Stage Left in NJ. His first cooking demo of the day Chef Rothman will be teaching garlic 101, with an hour long program of the garlic culinary basics. The second demonstration of the day, he will be teaching some tricks of the trade while revealing some garlic inspired mouth watering recipes.

 

NEW this year are artist practicing their craft with live demonstrations.....

TURNING ARTS wood artist Brad Sears  is a professional wood turner, wood turning demonstrator and instructor working in Northeastern Pennsylvania's storied Pocono Mountains.  A firm believer in the philosophy that "form follows function," to see his work visit. www.turningarts.com
